Stephanie O’Connor is a best-selling Irish children’s writer of books and short stories, primarily fiction for young readers, including picture books, chapter books, and middle-grade fiction. They include books about friendship and inclusion, books with a focus on kindness and the value of being a good friend to others, books that celebrate special holidays, magical stories and fables. 

Born in Northern Ireland. Educated at the University of Ulster and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Stephanie enjoys a wide range of reading and travel. She lives in beautiful Wicklow, Ireland. Her chief interests are her family, her writing, and art.

Growing up Stephanie was a passionate reader and devoured all the titles she could find. She has always written since her early teens and developed this hobby by writing stories for her children. She has published over 50 books under various pen names. When she isn’t working or writing stories about magical creatures, she likes to read, draw, paint and spend time with family and friends.
